Who are we?
We are a modern Ukrainian scientific research family company with history and ambitious plans for the future. The author of our product was a well-known Ukrainian scientist – Doctor of Biology Leontiy Fedorovych Gorovyi. From 1992 to 2015, Dr. Gorovyi was the chief researcher of the molecular genetics department of the Institute of Cell Biology and Genetic Engineering of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. For a long time, he was engaged in the development of technologies for the deactivation of radioactive waste originating from operations of nuclear power plants. Creative search of Dr. Gorovyi resulted in separation of a dry extract out of biomass of Fomes Fomentarius preserving all necessary active components. This new product was named chitin-glucan-melanin complex (CGMC).

Where are we from?
Candidate of Medical Sciences and Doctor of Biology Olga Fedorivna Seniuk obtained scientific degree of Doctor of Biological Sciences by defending her thesis on the topic: “Radiobiological effects in the body and the principles of its protection against the negative effects of ionizing radiation.” It was Dr. Seniuk’s research in the direction of adaptation of Dr. Gorovyi’s invention that led to the fact that the technology of decontamination of radioactive waste was converted into a technology of protection and enhancement of human health. Under the leadership of Olga Fedorivna Seniuk extensive medical, biological and clinical research was conducted in the experimental laboratory at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. This research allowed to come up with a dietary supplement based on the primary product (CGMC).

Where are we going?
Mykoton Original LLC is the only company in Ukraine that produces CGMC and products derived from it at its own production site and is the owner of the original research documentation. Today dietary supplement based on the chitin-glucan-melanin complex is available for sale in Ukraine under the two brands FOMIE and MYCOTON. The company’s products can be purchased directly via this web-site or through direct sales (for bulk purchases please contact our sales managers). Mykoton group of companies operates since 2002.

“Mykoton Original” LLC is located at the address: Ukraine, 08003, Kyiv oblast, Bucha rayon, Gavronshchyna village, 3-a Poliovyi lane. The company’s production capacity are located on 2 hectares of its own land where administrative building and production plant with a total area of 1,500 m2 are located.
