Dietary supplement FOMIE
This is a natural health product developed by scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. A soft, pleasant cotton-like substance is obtained from tinder mushroom which in Latin is called Fomes Fomentarius. It is from the name of this ancient mushroom that FOMIE derives its name.
FOMIE is a unique complex of three mushroom biopolymers (chitin, glucan and melanin). FOMIE is a powerful immunomodulator and removes heavy metals, radionuclides, toxins and waste from the body.
About us
The founders of the company are Ukrainian scientists Doctor of Biology Leontiy Fedorovych Gorovyi and Candidate of Medical Sciences and Doctor of Biology Olga Fedorivna Seniuk. It was they who developed the technology to extract chitin-glucan-melanin complex (CGMC) from the dry extract of tinder mushroom (lat. Fomes Fomentarius) and to create dietary supplements Mycoton and FOMIE. First technical conditions for production of a biologically active supplement were developed and registered back in 2002.
